One thing I keep hearing a lot here in Vietnam is how much people enjoy watching the Aussies play.
Playing with positive body language and smiles on their faces, our girls capture the hearts of the locals here in Hau Giang and millions of TV viewers in Vietnam and neighbouring countries.
Typical Australian never-say-die attitude also gains the team a lot of admirers.
Speaking of admirers, one young girl approach Eliza Smith and gave her a little present after the match last night. There is a letter which reads:
“Dear Smith,
I am sure that you are supprised(sic) when you received the letter from little admirer.
Did you remember the girl who took a photograph with you in match between VTV Binh Dien Long An team and Australia team on February 20th?
I don’t know when you return Vi Thanh city but I’m looking forward to seeing you again. I hope you have a lot of success and happiness in your life. Request for reply me soon.
Little admirer
