Good hitting and blocking from both teams. Aussies gaining little bit of momentum. XLDK call timeout 20-24 then close out set 20-25

 Second set starts evenly 4 all with both teams hitting winners.

XLDK utilising slide well 5-7. Good blocking and defense from AUS 7-7.

Frostick sub on for Orchard

XLDK gaining slight advantage 9-11 but Australia peg it back and then take lead 14-12. Timeout called by XLDK.

Australia consolidate lead with consistent serving and hitting 16-12. Australia continue to extend lead 21-14. Defense from Aus is good and hitters executing well. Great rally goes XLDK way 23-18. Timeout Australia.

Australia wins second set 25-18.

Jenny Day got one through the Vietnamese block

Set 3: Line up Day, Frostick, Jensen, Sloane, Skipper, Godfrey, Choat(L)

 Aussie take early lead 3-0, then continues on. XLDK calls timeout 8-3. Good blocking from Jensen and Sloane but XLDK peg it back 8-7.

Eliza on for Godfrey. Australia maintain lead 14-12 and then increase lead wih good serving and blocking 20-13. XLDK tips and rolls into middle and then hits a couple clean winners 23-20. Australia wins third set 25-21

Set 4: Line up Day, Frostick, Jensen, Sloane, Skipper, Godfrey, Choat(L)

Australia successfully get away to early lead 6-2. Couple of aussie service errors help XLDK close the gap but Australia regains buffer with good defense 12-7.

Orchard on for Frostick. Hitting winners from Orchard and Godfrey 15-8. XLDK defense and serve receive becoming less consistent. Aus lead 20-11 and close out set 25-12.

Australia won convincingly in the end after an indifferent start.

A very even team effort by all the girls. Skipper and McKinnon were outstanding in their senior debuts.
